What type of Wyandotte is this?

well on my other ones that are manly black they dont have any sheen or shimmer...

They will likely develop it with time.

A lot of black colored birds don't get the sheen until they are older, while some will. I currently have some of each. Black birds with the pretty green/purple sheen and a bunch that have a very flat matte like black color. Your bird is definitely a mystery!

Agreed. I believe Truffles is a Barnevelder. You have another one who is gold laced and another silver laced and both of others are Wyandottes

Barnie was at the top of my list. Better pic would probably confirm that. Thanks!

I don't know what Truffles is, but Wyandottes do come through with straight combs from time to time.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to find out because she, along with 5 others, has passed away while we were out of town. It got up to 108f where we are, and they simply could not take the heat. I feel bad as these are our first chickens and I now know there are things that could easily have saved them. If only I had known before we left.
