I have a mystery chick I need to ID. It hatched 2-3 days ago. So I must have gotten the eggs about 3 to 3 1/2 wks ago. It is a blonde chick with poofy cheek feathers and furry legs! It looks to be LF sized. It came from a light brown medium egg marked BF in purple pen. Can anyone help? I looked through my swaps and can't find anything to match.

Sounds like a buff Favorelle. Does it have 5 toes

It only has 4 toes, but one side has an extra bump on the 4th toe, like it was supposed to have an extra toe?

Did you ever get eggs from ayeupchuck in that time frame. She is the one my buff Favorelles came from and the only one I know has them.

Yeah just checked my Buff favorelle eggs they are marked in a Purple Magic marker BF. So I am willing to bet that is what you got.
