New England.. the cold part.
My goose has a bump... on his bum, maybe where he stores his 'junk'... Its sort of between his legs and behind, and is about the size of an orange... fully feathered, and has been there forever... I just don't see it in any of the chinese goose pictures online.. ps. His head bump is MUCH bigger now.

What does it feel like? Is it hard? Squishy? Does it feel like it is full of fluid?

You might be looking at the fatty lobes geese have between their legs. Most breeds are supposed to have dual lobes hanging down that are of even size. A lot of geese out there - especially hatchery stock - have mismatched lobes or a single lobe that hangs down. Normally when you pick the goose up and feel the area it just feels like a bunch of loose skin. If that's not it then it might be a tumor or cyst of some sort. Sometimes you can lance those and drain them out, other times they need to be surgically removed.

Any more information would be muy helpful.

I'm the wrong person to ask. I've had enough run-ins with Chinese to automatically assume that they're more useful in the freezer than in my yard

It's up to you. If it is a tumor or cyst then you can attempt to lance it yourself using a sterile needle/knife, or take him to a vet. I don't know of a single vet in my area that deals with poultry and waterfowl so I try to handle all of my troubles on my own. If you can find a specialized vet then there's a good chance he'll be expensive. You'll need to decide if it's worth the money or if it's not enough of a problem to treat (ie. it doesn't seem to be hurting the goose at all).

I just woke up from a horrible dream about mr. goose. I dreamed that I went out and he'd laid a GIANT brown egg, and then chewed all his toes off, and was just sort of limping/stumping around.... horrible! So i'm gonna go out right now and grope him.

Okay, I think this is good news.... i went out, pulled him out of his goose hut, flipped him over and pushed on his lump... it apparently is just made out of feathers? and almost disappears when I flip him... i'm going to go out later and feel it without flipping him, see if maybe it feels like a hernia. can geese have hernias?
