do you have a heavy winter coat, and scarf ? hat & gloves? warm socks and sturdy shoes? Dress for the cold and you will feel just fine in it. ( that’s what i’ve learned )

Thanks, I have 2 winter coats one that I don’t use every season only when it’s really cold
Lots of sweaters jackets hoodies to layer up
Lots of crochet scarfs
Lots of beanie caps & a hunters thermal cap super thick with ear flaps and snaps under my chin that I don’t use every season only when super cold
Lots of gloves from thin to so thick thermal I don’t use them every season
( for the past 3 years I keep a pair in my purse year round because even when heat index is 100+ my hands can get cold in some a/c’s like bus Walmart Winn Dixie …)
Socks and thermal socks galore I have even double them up
(In the last year I sleep in socks year round from thin to thermal (I don’t always wake up with them on and if I forgot to put them on I wake up to put them on)
thermals I have lots of bottoms
Sometimes double up on them too
Also have ski pant thermals that don’t have to be hidden
Thermal boots that I don’t use every season

Since mobile can have freezing mornings and warm to hot afternoons I dress summer year round and layer up

Most all my clothes are wrinkle free ( no longer own an iron )
I have some thermal bottoms that I have cut off to where my knee socks stop and wear sleeveless dresses ( depending how cold it is I may double maybe triple )
And over the years I have been asked aren’t you cold & I’ll say no I’m wearing thermals
& I have what I call winter tennis shoes to accommodate thicker or multi socks when it’s not cold enough for thermal boots
I used to love to walk day or night or be outside when it was cold & all layered up
But as I get older I don’t like freezing or too hot weather and now anything over 80 is too hot
