Do you not have screens on your doors and windows? We couldn’t live here without screens to keep out house flies, black flies and mosquitoes in the warm temps.

I even have screens in the barns to keep bugs and flies out.

Not something anyone has ever really done here in the urban residential areas. Another thing we have never really done here either is double glazing on the windows. Could be due to the cost of housing? I am not sure why not.
However all our housing (bar the very unusual few) is built with bricks or concrete.

My apartment complex does not have screens and when it’s hot the flies do come inside

Wednesday: Christmas day! :58°F, dew point 54°F, humidity 88%, wind N @ 10mph, cloudy. Had a front come through last night, got two rounds of thunderstorms. 1st around 7:30pm and another around 11pm, got 1.6" of much needed rain.
High today, expected to be 68°F.

Still 42° this morning but partly cloudy now instead of clear. It's supposed to work up to 65° and sunny.
