Great thread! Mine is:

Ephesians 3:14-21 (King James Version)

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,

That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,

Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.

John 1:5 "And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend the light". Tells us all we need to know about the people in our lives that seem to be a poison.

Col.13:13?
I admit I am not as familiar with the Bible as I should be or perhaps Im using a different version but I'm not finding this one. Can you clarify please?

Quote:
It doesn't exist. 1 and 2 Col is rather short.

Ok thanks I seriously could not figure out what that was referencing was thinking it referenced 1st Cor 13:13 instead?

There are a lot of good uns all right.
I like Romans 8:37

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Christ who loved us!

In the middle of a very bad time...father dying, our family staying with him in ccu 24/7, no rest for any of us, forty days, just finding my way back to Jesus, and trying desperately to increase my faith. One night during this black time I was at a little church in south Alabama as a visiting preacher from the hills of north Alabama was just closing his sermon when for some reason he suddenly quoted Romans 10:17. Odd thing was that this verse had nothing to do with the sermon he had just preached. It made the hair on my arms stand up and still does when I think about that night. Made a BIG difference in my life.

As someone said, all of scripture is "favorite", but Romans 10:17 is one verse that I feel was delivered at a specific time...for a specific reason...and for me specifically that night. It still brings a smile to my face when I think how this verse was actually out of place for the sermon that the preacher had just preached...but it was perfect for me. God works in wonderful ways.

A wonderful verse, but even more wonderful when taken in context with the rest of what God is saying.

God bless us,

2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV) Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

And...

1 Corinthians 15: 1-5 KJV (Paul's Gospel)

Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
