Raisins, scramled eggs and cheerios

It’s total chicken chaos when they see me coming with plain oatmeal and diced apples. I also wet some of their feed and mix in cranberries and raisins. They don’t leave a single trace in the pans.

Cat food. They love cat food more than their chicken feed but of course the chicken feed has to be fed more than a treat. The cat food helps them during molt and any time they need extra food. Watermelon was also loved by my chickens but one of my Sebrights got sick and died a day after I fed them watermelon, so that isn't happening again. It might have been a coincidence but I'd rather not take a risk.

Luckily my brother who lives with us goes hunting deer & rabbits! We have a freezer full at the moment.

I second that. Every time our chickens make it inside they head straight to the cat bowl
