I play board games.

I used to host a game night once a week, but I've since moved away from my game loving friends so most of my board gaming is either with my husband or solo play. I also take pictures of my poultry with some of my games and post them in a thread here, because I can't seem to resist an element of ridiculousness in the things I enjoy.

I used to be terrible at deciphering rulebooks and manuals, but because I owned most of the games we played I was forced to learn how to not only understand rulebooks, but to learn it to a degree that I would be effective at teaching it. This has been helpful outside of board gaming.

I have alot of hobbies but one of my favorites is musical theater. I have done two shows of my time in middle school, my most recent is Mean Girls the musical. These photos are behind the scenes from our last dress rehearsal. I was also in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory back in 6th grade. I plan on doing backstage crew for our spring play and when I'm a freshman next fall I plan on doing my school's next production. I enjoy a bunch of different musicals such as Hamilton, SIX, Mean Girls, and The Greatest Showman. Musical combines a two of my favorite things, choir and band. For our school we have a live pit crew (members of our community band) which always makes the show a lot more fun.

Second hobby: Choir. I absolutely love choir this is one of my favorite things to do. I have been doing group choir the past 2 years. I did a group ensemble, a trio, and a solo at solo ensemble last year. This year I plan on doing a Class B solo, a duet, and a group ensemble. Right now my choir teacher isn't the best but I learned the basics to choir from a really two really nice teachers who recently retired. I really hope one day that I can do something professionally with singing, such as a Broadway musical (but that is unlikely). Choir is the only reason I stayed in public school so I could have this experience with my friends and in order to get success in something that I really enjoy.

I love bottle digging. One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. Everything was made of glass or metal (no plastic) back in the 1700 - early 1900s, and they dug trash pits to collect their garbage. Now we go dig those pits up and find what was left behind, I love it. Some artifacts are worth a lot of money, some are just beautiful to look at. Me and my brother found a good dump last summer; the milk bottle with the green propaganda on it is worth anywhere from $1000-$1500.

My #1 hobby (I guess?) is my dog.
My #2 hobby is my chickens.
My #3 hobby is photography

Those three are my life, but I also kind of like baking. Not something I do all the time, but occasionally I really enjoy it.

I follow this YT channel that does the same thing. Seems like a super chill and fun hobby.
