When to put goose eggs on lockdown?

Hello, I'm incubating goose eggs for the first time. But I've done a boat load of research! Everything I've read says to go into partial lockdown (stop turning) between day 25 - 27 depending on the breed. And not to raise the humidity until they have internally pipped. Once they have internally pipped raise the humidity to 65% - 75% and go into full lockdown.

I only have one goose egg and today is day 26 and I'll be starting partial lockdown probably tomorrow. It's super nerve-wracking wondering if you're doing everything right. Wishing you luck for a successful hatch.:fl

I've started turning less frequently because they started wobbling so early, still have the humidity between 35% - 45%.

Probably not a bad idea! Mine just started to slightly wobble yesterday day 25. And it's been very active when I candle it. Different breeds hatch at different days and different eggs within the same breed can hatch earlier or later depending on hatching conditions. Maybe you'll have some early arrivals if they're already wobbling!

They are wobbling quite abit, yes. Candled them last night, no shadowing of air cell yet. It'll be nice if they hatch early.

Okay, officially putting the goose eggs on lockdown, they started shadowing little today. Today is day 23.
