The ChickInn egg supply
Chirping
Hello, I have an egg selling business near Longmont, CO and I need a better place to buy bulk feed. Anybody know of a better place to buy bulk layer pellets? Thanks!

Thanks! I will check it out.Ranch way used to before they were sold. They had a 1 T minimum. They have closed the store at the mill since Hubbard took over. You'll have to call if they sell bulk.
Feeder supply does sell bulk buy I'm pretty sure they do not have equipment to pelletize.
Agfinity used to but I haven't bought from them in 15 years. I thing Agland in Eaton does most of their milling.
I used to buy bulk feed from the Greeley elevator but they've been closed for years. When they closed I know a few customers started getting their feed out of Brush.
That's all I got.
Ok. Do you know if feeders supply bulk would even be cheaper than a 40lb bag of layer pellets at TSC for $10?The best thing about Greeley was that they would formulate a custom blend with whatever grains and profile you needed. Ranch-Way had a similar approach but towards the end they first upped the minimum then I think they discontinued custom blends altogether. FS is small enough that she will work with you.
Ok thanks for all the info. Yeah I am getting a 16% from TS right now. I looked at the very small print date on the bag of feed and was astonished to see it was milled just over 3 months ago................another reason why I should buy from a mill. I will continue to look around. Thanks again! You'd have to call and ask. I doubt they can beat the price. That's $0.25/#. But what are you getting? A 16% is bare minimum. I don't like that it's milled out of state and has to be trucked in. How fresh is it? Using lower cost ingredients isn't going to save you $$ if they have to eat more to satisfy their needs. The Ranch-Way products I buy usually range from $13-16/50#. That's for the all poultry blend and the 20% layer. Usually no more than a week old.
