Where can I find silkies for sale in Connecticut? Chicks or adults

Did anyone find a source in CT for silkies? I'd like a female, too and am in southwestern, CT. I'm hoping to find one about three to four months old to pair with my single hen.

I just picked up two hens from her - she didn't have any pullets - $15 each for pet quality. Nice birds - I gave one a bath - she didn't even blink. Then blew dried her - very calm.

I did have to drive two hours to meet up with her in Mass but for me it was worth it as I didn't want more than two birds - I'm at my max now.

The appear to be healthy - but I've only had them a for about a week.

My friend is seeking silkie or serama chicks(pullets),She wants 2, lives in suburban area(Countryside,IL) can NOT have any roos.

She has had chickens(as house pets) for years - but is stuck getting them from area feed store, they told her, they get ones the hatcheries can't sell. She's fed up with the congenital defects etc.

If close enough she would pick up in person. She doesn't have a computer so I do the searching & researching for her. I'm several miles from her so only see her a couple times a week.
