Where can the good J clip crimpers/pliers be purchased?

I have searched and searched, but can't find a source. We've been working with a terrible pair from Tractor Supply -- the only they had -- and they're shot. I've read that there is a padded pair available.

LOL, when I saw this title I thought, Don't buy them, they suck! Then I realized you were using the TSC pliers, too. Nothing like stretching up high on a ladder and having them barely tweak the j-clamp with no decent clamping.

Funny, because I just returned a pair to TSC today. They broke after about a dozen uses. I used lineman's pliers to complete the job.

Whatever happened to hog rings? I used them for fencing and car upholstery years ago, but they seem to have gone the way of the dinosaur.

I found some hog rings at Home Depot in the fencing section. I bought them after the TSC J-clip pliers gave out after about 20 uses.

I think I may return mine, too, since they didn't last long enough to install a box of J-clips.
