Where to get new ducks

You could try to get some ducks off Craigslist but I don’t recommend it.

Yeah we have tried to on Craigslist but it ended up not working out. And the quack is definitely raspy.

Check in your area for rescuers. In my are there is a rescue that gathers abandoned pekin ducks from local parks that people leave there and try to find homes for them.

I'm so sorry about your duck you lost. :-(

If I look on Petfinder under birds I can always find ducks in need of homes in my area. Only rescue organizations are allowed to use Petfinder.

I don't recommend buying on Craigslist, but often people rescue abandoned ducks, are trying to rehome them, and post on CL looking for help finding homes. That's actually how I found 3 of my 4 rescue ducks. Sometimes Nextdoor works.
