Depending upon the strain they can lay 'almost' white or very light tan eggs.

Seriously, some of the most human aggressive roosters I have ever dealt with have been Sebrights. Scary indeed - if they were full sized birds they would be man killers.

Really beautiful they are, especially the orange ones! But i read so much about problems with them due to inbreeding and unstable genetics, i think i'll pass on them - for now.
Another fun story from my childhood: My relatives also had a red rooster - again no idea what breed, but it had a lot of red. That bird had it with me: He was actually hunting me down, pecking my arms and legs until one day i had enough, grabbed both of his legs and held him over the fish pond. Some of the humongous carps nibbled at him but found him not tasty… From that day on he was hiding when he saw me and the one time i sneaked up on him he almost passed out.
