Which cockerel should I keep?

I let him out again, and after a few hours of peace he tried to eat the dominant hens comb all over again so back in prison he went. Today I let him out again and stuffed the dominant hens comb with vicks vaporub.
It works. He tried to bite her once and tasted the most disgusting thing in his life. Never had problems so far. I'll keep you updated.

Still he has no idea how to mate. He does the most beautiful dance to his favorite pullet, tidbits, but never mounted anyone. He warns for every potential threat. I hope this is just a phase because other than hating on the dominant hen, he's perfect. He doesn't even crow that much.

Unfortunately he did leave Mrs. Vicks alone, but targeted another laying hen. He got more hurt than her in the process, but back to prison he went for another couple of days. Now he's out, and all the flock had a dose of vicks. Let's see how it goes.

All good so far. He tried to mate his favorite pullet and while doing so he grabbed her feathers, NOT her comb but he was gentle enough to not pull any feather. She just screamed and ran away and he left her alone.
She do squat but at the moment she only squats for me and not for the rooster. That has to be so frustrating lol.

So since he know how to grab feathers for mating, the comb pecking was a dominance thing. He really hates the big hens. The big hens bulled him and his sisters as a chick so he probably dislikes them for that reason. He tidbits for the pullets and even for the chicks younger then him, but won't let the old hens eat whatever he's tidbitting.

No more comb pecking though. I heard some wing flapping and I thought he was harassing the dominant hen again, but she wasn't concerned and he even danced for her. Maybe he finally mated, but I won't believe until I see him do it with my eyes.

He's a very good boy so far, at least as long as he got over his comb-devouring issue.

In the video he's trying to impress his favorite pullet with not much success. She still squats for me and not for him, the poor boy.

I managed to sell #2. He was lucky, I had everything ready for culling him when I got a message from a guy who wanted a trio.
#1 is very good so far. He's not beating up the old hens anymore, he lets them eat together with the pullets, I've seen him mate one of the older hens but no bullseye eggs so far. Hopefully he won't turn human aggressive in the future.

The Wyandotte above clearly sees me different than all my other hens. She's always squatted for me since bringing her home. This was the only skirmish I ever witnessed when I added her to the flock
