Which hen, which egg?

Which hen laid which egg? I think the left egg is from my Polish (first pic) and the right one from my D'uccle (second pic), but I am not sure.Thank you!

I'm going to take a stab that the egg on the right is the D'uccle's.
If they are both laying in the same nest, one way you'll know is frequent coop checks to catch one in there, or run out there when you see one going in or coming out. I've heard of some who will put lipstick on the anus of one hen, and that I just can't find myself doing.

Another idea is get a wifi coop camera so you can see what time each goes to lay her egg. Then you'd know what time to check.

Interesting reasoning on a site that we have pretty good discussions on chicken poop. I don't use lipstick either, no way am I going to try to explain to my wife why her lipstick is on a hen's vent.

I have no idea. Instead of lipstick you can put food coloring in one's vent and see if you can see colored streaks when the egg is laid. Somehow this just feels better.

Another approach would be to isolate one pullet until she laid an egg.

I did catch the Polish laying an egg the color of the left egg.
