Which is better?

There really is no such thing as dry incubation, because there is humidity in the air. As the incubator heats up, the humidity will go down, but it will never reach zero.

You live in a humid place, so with no water in the incubator you will still have 30 to 40% humidity in the incubator. That is what I incubate at in Northern California, but I have to fill one of the water channels in my incubator to get to that level.

Check my signature line for hatching information.

Okay I do not know what eggs I was given and a lady is sending easter eggers and murans, bramas...never hatched any of those before...I just do not want to kill any of them...I am going to check it again now and will let you know what it says...

Temp on both says 100 and humidity is 37 should I try to get it higher? I have three of the rings in the bottom half way full and a small paper cup of water in the corner...it has been that way since about 1 pm and no changes...is that okay to leave it like that?

So my temp is now 99 and humidity is 40 is that good to have it like that now? I have not put anything in it yet because I want to wait til I have all my eggs to put in...

I don't know about your other questions but you would be wise to just put all the eggs in together. Otherwise you might
dry out your fellas getting ready to pip as you open the incubator frequently to deal with already hatched chicks.

But I am under the impression those other eggs could show up any day. I don't do "staggered hatches" myself. You might search BYC for threads on that if interested.

I just put four eggs in tonight at about 10:30 wish me luck on my hatch...I did not want to do to many eggs because I am turning by hand and want to make sure that I do it correctly...hopefully by the 29th and 30th I will have some babies :) cannot wait...
