I picked up two 2/3 week old WCB Polish chicks today. One is definitely a dark blue, almost black, the other has a lot of white and I am curious if it will keep the white or if it will just end up a lighter grey? I realize the lighter one has a lot of chick down still, but the wing feathers have grown in pretty white, and they wings are much lighter than it’s flockmate and the 6 week old WCB Polish I picked up last weekend. This is my first time with Polish so I don’t know much about how they color out. I know there are splash polish, but those seem to be very white with just a few dark spots. Here’s some (bad) photos of the new chicks, I don’t want to bother them much today so they can settle in and these pics are through the brooder wall. Thanks for any info!

The older one looks like a white crested black. They younger one will be a white crested, looks like blue, when it feathers out. Chick coloration is usually different from adult coloration.
