White Egg-Laying Barred/Cuckoo Breeds?

I am looking for a barred hen breed so I can breed white egg-laying black sexlinks. Apparently Hollands and Cuckoo Leghorns lay white eggs but they are both very rare. Are there more common white egg-layers with the barring gene? If I breed a Brown Leghorn Rooster with a Barred Rock hen, I am assuming that the brown egg genes of the Barred Rock would result in light brown eggs. Barred Rocks are the most common hens with the barring gene but they don’t lay white eggs. I’m assuming my best bet is to wait until a breeder or hatchery online has Hollands available as I am unable to find Cuckoo Leghorns available anywhere in the USA. Cuckoo Leghorns would be preferable though as breeding a Brown Leghorn with a Cuckoo Leghorn would result in 100% Leghorn genetics and a great egg-layer as a result.

@The Moonshiner has cuckoo Leghorns, though idk if they lay pure white eggs.
Ya mine lay pure white eggs.

Ya I don't know anyone else with cuckoo leghorns.
What's your end goal? I'm working on a few patterns with cuckoo.
If you just want a cuckoo that lays white eggs California Grays might be your easiest find. Never had them and don't know a lot about them but you might look into them.

The Sandhill Preservation Center actually has both of those breeds, although he states that his Holland eggs tend to be tinted (they're also sold out for this year). The barred leghorns are still available. Also have cuckoo polish which lay white eggs.
Not sure how fast and how many you need, last I heard there was a minimum order requirement (not finding it on their site so that may have changed) and it can be a wait for birds. Also no online ordering and orders/payments are through the mail by check/money order only. I have not ordered from there personally but hear that the birds are good quality.

Hope this helps!

Unfortunately, their birds and ordering process are awful. They often send wrong birds and do not give refunds.

Aww that's disappointing to hear. I heard of them sending substitutions when they don't hatch enough (and the snail mail ordering being horrible), but not completely wrong/poor quality birds.

They were good 15-20 years ago but the quality has slipped as the caretakers got older.

Wow that was such an old post.
At that time I still had one outstanding order with them. They couldn't fill it so eventually sent me a refund check. It bounced.
Fought with them forever over that then they finally suddenly wanted to send my order.
Whoops couldn't fill it so I substituted for exchequer leghorns. Couldn't fill that so they asked if I'd take half exchequers and half blacks. I'd had both from them before and wasn't impressed but I needed something to end this.
They sent "exchequers" that looked like a split between white leghorns and austra whites or something.
The "blacks" were barred. Maybe their cuckoo leghorns  but they looked more like barred rocks. I didn't keep them long enough to see what color eggs they laid.
I think that was also the order they substituted some on their own that I didn't keep long enough to figure out what they were.
Never, never again

Thank you.
Update: I’ve now ordered some barred/cuckoo leghorn and light brown leghorn baby chicks from there. 😊
