White Mandarin Ducklings (pictures)

Out of the 6 eggs I collected from my mandarin ducks this May, I got 4 of them to hatch. They are so cute.

Names
Katrina- loves to explore, but sleepy aswell

Chow- literally tries to eat every single thing in sight.

Barus- pretty much always sleeping or grooming itself.

Delvis- normal colored one- jumpy, always tries to get the most attention by pecking my eye lashes or being so fricking cute.

And their parents last winter (they are ugly and moulting right now)

Awww! They're so cute. I bet they're getting big now! I have two Mandarin ducklings. I can't wait to watch them grow. Do you raise any species of ducks besides the Mandarins?

I don't raise any duck species besides mandarins, but i do raise parrots and 5-6 species of chickens as well, and i plan on getting blue scaled quail and lady amherst pheasants for my aviary this fall

Oh that would be awesome! Do you have any pics of your aviary? I'm currently building mine and trying to get as much inspiration as possible.

I do not, but its not complete yet so I will tell you what i imagine it to be in the end. Currently There are 4 lovebirds 4 (2 babies) white mandarin ducks and 7(1 baby) mandarin ducks.
The pen is about 11' x 20' x 10'

about 1/3 of the pen consists of the pond, that has a filter and a waterfall, with grass all around the pond. there is a tree trunk with a bird house type thing built on the top of it kinda like this. it also has a couple parrot nesting boxes up the post.

around the pens perimeter are misters for when it gets too hot outside.

then there is a small palm tree near this "feed post" with a grassy area under it where the ducks love to sit, and around the edge of the pen there are various shrubs and vines with a large dead tree perch for the parrots to roost on and opposite side of that there is a double door system

you go through the first door into an area that has an area beneath it to store food and other stuff and above there is access to nester boxes for the quail and pheasants.

there is a rock pathway over to a rock patio near the pond with a sitting area on it.

this is all I have planned to have completed by this fall.
