It does look like dry skin to me.Managed to grab him while he was checking out the coop after cleaning. Looks like dry skin? Peels back like a scab
Okay! That we do have!It does look like dry skin to me.
I would apply something like coconut oil to his comb every day until it goes aways.
I’ve been forgetting to get coconut oil on it so it’s still pretty dry looking but he’s doing just fine- I really need to remember to get that to him. You can kind of see it in this picture- ends up it’s just dry season, bloody noses are starting tooHow's your rooster's comb looking now?
Glad he's ok!I’ve been forgetting to get coconut oil on it so it’s still pretty dry looking but he’s doing just fine- I really need to remember to get that to him. You can kind of see it in this picture- ends up it’s just dry season, bloody noses are starting too
He is! I raised him with my Brahma hens (one passed sadly) so he is exceeding friendly too. He’s a Swedish flower- he does the thing roosters usually do before attacking (walking sideways with the wing down a bit) but for him he really just wants treatsGlad he's ok!
He's a very pretty boy.
