Who Still has their Christmas tree up besides me?

Ours is still up but it's not Epiphany yet. DH is the decorator here and insists on huge trees. A few years ago I convinced him he could have a bigger tree if he put it on our enclosed deck. It's so cool out there we could keep it another month! We get it baled to get it through the door.
Last year I had to cut it apart to get it out. Same thing will happen this year.
Two years ago we put white Christmas lights around the chicken run. They are still up and working. Gives a nice glow and just enough light to see that all is well:)

took ours down on day after christmas...in our defense, we put it up second week of nov. needles were falling off, so it was time for it to go.

We put ours up the Sunday after Thanksgiving, as usual (artificial of course - we have a woodstove in the same room). We take all decorations (inside and out) down New Year's Day, every year.

I finally bought a fake, pre=lighted Christmas tree this year, all of three feet tall. It's still up, until this weekend probably. Unfortunately, the fact that it is fake and isn't dropping needles is feeding into my natural procrastinating tendencies!

Took our tree down yesterday. Here in Uk superstition has it that the decorations must be down by 6th January, Epiphany, which is the last of the twelve days of Christmas. Tonight, we will have the family round for a meal, and serve an apple pie with a little charm hidden in it. Whoever gets the charm in their slice of apple pie is supposedly 'King for a day'! This is really a French tradition. Can't think why we do it when there is and always has been such antipathy towards all things French in UK?
