Whos laying?

Help! I have an Amberlink, EE, and an Sapphire Gem. All female. I'm pretty sure it's not my EE. Which do you think is laying these?

By color of egg it could be any of the three.

I read someone's post with a similar dilemma of not knowing who laid which egg and someone's response to finding out had me dying of laughter. They said get some different shades of lipstick and put a different colour on your chickens vents. When the egg pops out, it will have the colour lipstick on it. Clever but can you imagine getting out your makeup bag and your neighbours wanting to unsee what they think they just saw you doing

Hmmm, who shall have the Nyx dusky pink, the Elf rambunctious red and the Rimmel... that's too on point!

You could try the lipstick thing, or just stake out the nesting boxes. How old are your hens? Amberlinks and Sapphire Gems both tend to start laying on the early side, while EEs tend to wait longer.

..I tried doing this on my two hens and the Neighbor's kid saw me.
He yelled
"Look! Mommy! That guy is shoving LIPSTICK in that CHICKENS BUTT!!"

I had a very hard time explaining what I was doing.

..But yes, You can try the lipstick method.. Just don't let a neighbor's kid see you.

I used food gel colouring. Worked well except I had a white bantam cochin with a blue butt which was like that for months
