Since your starting into fall things should be settling down some that is probably what your seeing since they aren't fighting as much. Breeding season is late winter here for geese is that the same there? Starts anywhere from Jan till end of May.

10 eggs you'll have lil ducklings running around soon.

Guess what?!!!!!
I just found out that the one I bought believing to be a girl is actually a boy. I know that because it was exposing himself this morning. I hope the other one that was meant to be a boy turn to be a girl.
What a twist! lol

When I was watching them fight again last night it just didn't strike me as 2 ganders fighting no wings being used. Could have been just courtship, a little rough though lol

Really! I hope you are right. That would be great. In some of their fights I noticed the (now) boy, Guido, putting one foot on the back of the other, Ganso (who I hope to be able to change the name to Gansa). lol

When my gander and drake fight they use their wings and boy do they hurt when trying to break them up. Sounds to me like your geese are young and just getting ready to begin breeding they trying to work out the kinks so to speak. Hopefully keep us updated.

Yeah, I heard that about the wings when they are fighting. That gives me hope. I also notice Guido (the one I am sure is a boy because I’ve seen his ‘thing’) trying to put one of his foot on the back of the other. I still have hope. I will be posting more when something new (and hopefully exciting) happens.

Thanks!
