Why did I eat this?!?

I’ve literally seen better looking pathology specimens! I think the tripe respondent is right on, some of that looks like omasum (3rd chamber of a cow’s stomach), has a raised honey comb pattern that’s quite distinctive, maybe mushrooms on the orange things? How did you eat that? I’m impressed, I can’t even get my kids to eat 1 part per billion sweet peppers!

Is that Balut? :sick
Worse. Chicken fallopian tube and egg. 🤮
Very close!

Yup!!

Japanese Tamahimo, or fallopian tube, is a dish of grilled chicken fallopian tube and unlaid egg.

Ugh.

The egg didn't really taste like anything. I hate to say it, but the " meat" was actually really good, until I found out what it was, then I had to drink a ton of sake to get it out of my mind. LOL!

I'm Italian, from Venice, and legends say Italians have good tastes.
Well, to me it look delicious. I would eat that stuff every day. For our elderly, chicken intestine is a delicacy (and I confirm). My grandma used to roast the ovaries of her hens, and they were the most delicious part of a chicken after the gizzard and the heart. I would eat chicken uterus all my life, 100%
