This chick was born with yolk sack not fully absorbed and grew up to be healthy chick. It infact was smaller than the others but was growing at the same time and would enjoy roaming around with the others and live healthy life. All Quail chicks are at 3 weeks old and seam to be doing Fine as i believe. Today I went to check on him and he was sat by the corner sleeping with his head sticking out of the net.
I thought he was okay but as soon as he moved back he was acting really weird. Like he couldn't walk properly, and and his movements were very odd as if he was suffering from some muscle spasams until eventually he passed.
Not sure what happened though, I assume it might have something to do with his yolk sack he fully absorbed later on. Or if it was an organ failure. But it's strange. We had one pass last week which had one leg and also had yolk sac that wasn't fully absorbed at the beginning.
It's first time keeping quails so it can be stressing to not know how to prevent or even deal with situations like this one but,I really hope the rest of my birds do well.

Either injury to the neck/brain or developmental issues of the same most likely with description (seizure, flailing, etc). Organ failure or infection would most likely find bird just dead or a little droopy and then dead or failure to thrive/grow and then dead. Did he wrench his neck in the net? Don’t despair though, they are fun but with fast growing and short lived critters you will occasionally lose one for some random or stupid reason. Just do your best, learn what you can, and keep going!
