Hi, dj! Welcome to BYC! We originally got chickens bc I am not from here (SE MO) and discovered that ticks are a fact of life around here, which I was not used to. So the chickens were primarily for tick control. But of course we enjoy the eggs and they are so pretty, fun to watch and listen to. They are just the whole package! Why do YOU have chickens?
