I recently got a 1 week old cayugan duckling and a 1 week old Pekin duckling. My cayugan is very sweet, gives light nips every now and then, but my Pekiname takes it a lot farther than affectionate nips. When they are laying down with me, the Pekin will repea teddy bite at the sensitive skin of my neck, my lips, my nose, my eyes... ithe doesn't hurt since she is tiny but I'm worried it'll start hurting as she gets bigger. Is she just plying to rough or actually trying to hurt me? I handle them both daily. They follow me around when I wor in the kitchen, they cuddle with me when I lay down to read or watch a movie, I give them treats and take them swimming in the tub... I don't know what else to do to make her happy
....Ducklings like puppies or any Baby puts everyone in their mouths and some are more aggressive doing so..Grab its Bill and shake it saying no...It soon learns..Your Momma so need to teach proper touching....
