Why the lungs have black spots

Hi all,

I would like to know what was wrong with my pullet. She was around 6-6.5 months old (23-24 weeks) didnt start to lay eggs but was acting lethargic and like having difficulty to breath (not very much). This was her Lungs and that only seemed to me something odd along with alot of fat around her intenstine.

What I would like to know:
was there a cure or what should someone do in this situation?
Will my other flock be affected if one of my pullets had lungs like this?
Cant seem to understand if this is a present problem in my flock I am not aware of.

Looks like blood clots. I zoomed in, it looks really dark dark red, not black.

Might try rinsing them off and making a few cuts.

No! If I'd seen that in processing, I'd be deeply concerned and would be doing as OP did - taking pictures and posting here seeking advice.

@Eggcessive is this something you've seen???

and I'd seriously consider a necropsy if one was available to me at reasonable price. I'd be thinking some kind of parasite, and hoping I was wrong.
