I really dont know what I am doing wrong or if my flock just has some kind of sickness but its like i cant win for losing. My chickens keep getting pasty butt, I clean them and clean them, my older chickens have had this before we raised chicks and now my new chickens are gettibg it. I didnt know anything about disease then. I already feel bad enough I understand I should not have let them around our new flock but I cant change that and I need any help I can get. I have 5 older chickens who no longer lay, the other day we cleaned all chickens with pasty butt when it was hot outside one of them was really bad i saw green poop. i changed the water each time i cleaned them. but none of these chickens are around my new flock they have their own cage. they only eat together. I just noticed my favorite brahma hen had a little pasty butt and when i looked under all her fluff it didnt look great. i cleaned her all up and when i put her down just now i noticed she has diahrea. i am not sure what would cause this. is there any kind of chicken medicine i can give them. what can i do? i feel terrible and i love my chickens i just want to have a healthy flock and it seems like im having problems left and right. but i am very grateful for all of yall on here helping me out.

Where are you located? Is it hot or cool? Are the chickens laying? Do you have poop pictures? Have you wormed them recently? What do you feed them? Chickens will drink more fluids in warm weather which may cause som diarrhea. Once they have diarrhea, the next droppings can cling onto soiled feathers and build up. If their chicken feed does not contain probiotics on the label, it might help to give them some or some Greek yogurt with live cultures. For worming, Valbazen 1/2 tsp given orally on day1 and day 10, or SafeGuard liquid goat wormer 1.25 ml given orally for 5 straight days would get most chicken worms.
