That bunny looks to be less than a week old. Bunnies open their eyes at 10 days. It is very difficult for humans to raise bunnies that age. I agree you should put it back, find a way to keep the cat out. Maybe check on it daily to see if it has a rounded belly(meaning it is eating) you will probably not see momma rabbit near the nest at all but she might be coming.

I just got back in from taking care of horses, goats, and chickens. And I went to check on it and it was not breathing and it was taking it's last breath. And it passed.​
