Okay, so I tried the rabbit picture, it did not turn out so great! 🤣

This is their den I waited outside of for what felt like an eternity (nothing ever came out).

This is as close as I could get to one of the teens.

As you can see... not the best photos :lau... but I tried! Maybe I'll get a good one next time.

Pretty cool having a rabbit den in your backyard. Hey, it's hard enough getting close up shots with a zoom lens, let alone a cell phone camera...

I went out to check on my quail yesterday and found this little guy curled up next to one of the legs of their pen. I thought it was a copperhead at first because of how light tan his body was but it was actually a young water moccasin.

Cool snake pic!

We've had a lot of flooding the last 2 winters and I've seen more snakes while duck hunting then I've seen in my entire life. They were all in the trees or swimming....

Here's a cormorant on the Mobile causeway. They have some pretty eyes but I haven't snuck close enough to get a detailed pic of them yet....

You did great, with a cell phone too. That's awesome. You got close enough to it so the background starts to blur out and you got the hornet in focus (which is the most important thing). You're close to eyelevel with it and there's more space in front than behind him. The light is nice and it lights up the whole flower, it's not the super harsh high noon bright light that creates a ton of dark shadows. Good job...
