I want to try and get better at photography and I have a camera but this was pretty good for jank tablet cam. Its a cardinal nest with a cowbird egg in it.looking back i realize i should have gotten it from a angle that the vine wasn't in the way but I don't want to go back and bother them any more.

Just got back from Africa.......

Haha.... just kidding. I went to one of coolest places I've been in a long time. I took my parents to the Alabama Safari Park near Montgomery. It is a 350 acre drive through park with tons of exotic animals. They didn't open until 9 so I missed out on golden hour light but still got a few decent pics.

They have a walk in aviary full of budgies....

The coolest part is you get to feed all the animals.... out of your car.... it's pretty crazy.

They have some places you walk through...

Got to watch a kangaroo fight too.....

This place is 100x better than any zoo I've been to. Highly recommend checking it out if you're in the area. Just be prepared for your car to get filthy..... and don't feed the camels.

I took a walk along the creek the other day and got buzzed by this male Belted Kingfisher. It's almost like they play "chicken" sometimes when they come right at you just above the water.
