The problem I see, is you have 5 birds? Two roosters is too many roosters for 3 hens. While the roosters may get along for a long time, there often comes a time when the younger will challenge and possibly fight the older bird.

Being raised together, being father/son will have no effect on future behavior.

Culling is really the only responsible option for aggressive cockerels. If we all prioritize demeanor, we can make the chicken world a friendlier, better hobby for future keepers.

I agree. I only keep nice roosters. If I am getting rid of roosters, it will only be nice ones I don't have space for. I will not hand mean roosters off to someone else to get hurt by. Mean roosters are stew roosters.
