Will these eggs even hatch?

For the most part it's a very friendly group here.No need to fear asking questions.  If it's been several weeks and she is thin yes, toss the eggs and try and break her from brooding. Usually this means separating her from the nest. Feed her extra.

Thank you I tossed the eggs and separated her she started eating right away

I think the fear was that no one would reply rather than fear of asking questions. It does seem that many posts receive no reply, but I can see that the shear volume makes a reply for each nearly impossible.

I once had a broody hen that we got some eggs from a friend for. They just walked around and were like "yeah, this one might be fertile, idk, I guess we will find out" when they were giving me eggs (they had about 4 roosters and 30 hens) and we didn't know how long the eggs had been out in 100+F weather. Over the next two weeks it hit 104-106 (and there were no fans or misters in the coop) and only went down to about 96 at night, all while Bonnie was sitting on these eggs. Out of 18 we had 14 hatch into healthy little chicks!! I say you have pretty good odds as long as the eggs were fertile to begin with.

Update! Hatch day was today 6/29, and I just got home from a 12 hour night shift to find one of the babies hatched :) It was 108 on Friday. Two more under mama to hatch, off to sleep so we will see when the others decide to break free.

Still so far no pips on the remaining two. I have a feeling they may hatch tonight while I'm at work. Little one is doing well.

I believe we are now pipped and unzipping so the first chick will probably have a sibling soon! Three hours ago before we went to dinner there was no pip or zip. Amazing how fast this can happen! Ps it's 104 out and 6 pm

Chick hasn't hatched yet....and third (and last egg) hasn't yet pipped. It's late, so hoping to see a new baby in the morning
