So I am new so plz excuse the stupid questions here. Will this pen/coop be a good coop? How many will it hold? I am starting out small but I want room to grow lol. I will just start with 5 of each. Do chickens, ducks and geese eat different food? Any sugestions on ratios and breeds will be nice too

How do I get a supply list together and a rough cost? My husband oked 2 ducks and this is what I have come up with

Go big or go home right??? Dew to buget and all IF I HAVE TO I will just do the pin at first and add the coop later. So it is my understanding no chickens without a coop...right?

I have been amazed of all I have learned in just a short time on here. I have to admit I "stole" ideas from this site I am going to post the pics I used to come up with my over all plan. I hope I am not doing wrong by posting these if so let me know and I will remove them promptly

This is an idea from the out side!

Pen

Pen 2

Pen 3

Pen 4

but mine will be on the ground...no slab

inside idea

3 food shelters

I like the shelter idea! So I will have one of each plus and house in each pen:)

Storage corner of the coop idea. I want mine a bit bigger with some selves in it as well.

There are so many wonderful ideas on here to pull from

I am so glad for all the info shared!!!

As you know, duck is very messy and poop a lot. I would put them lowest part of the property so the water don't run off into the chicken, and coop. Another factor is smell so may not want the duck, chicken, geese pens not to blow direct to your house. I also would refer to get chicken egg from outside and not walking in the run. With the duck and geese you may not have a choice. You may consider and duck and geese next together, in case you change you mind and combine them as both water type.
