Most chickens will have set the first adult flight feathers in wings by about 7 months.

For some reason I'm just now seeing all these. Thank you for your responses. I'll have to check them out one of these nights. We also just found a spot where they're getting out in the fence. So that's a problem too. It's an area that was never meant to be permanent.
