Snow day here in Texas!

Chickens don't appear to be happy but seem fine. No signs of frostbite. Their waterer was frozen but I just brought out a backup. Tonight will be the true test with lows in the middle teens.

Is the snow and Temps pretty normal for your area in Texas winter?

I've been mixing warm water in their food to make mash. They devour it!

Mine like warm mash too, if they're really good, I mix scrambled eggs into it - they go bonkers!

No, definitely not normal! To put it into perspective, the last time the area got this much snow was 1973. Our average lows every year is around 40°!
