Winter and Holiday Would You Rather!!!!!!!!

It’s that time again!!!!!! Another would you rather thread!!!!! Only this time it is WINTER AND HOLIDAY THEMED!!!!!! So Christmas, New Year’s, Hanukkah if you celebrate that, etc. etc., lots of holidays this time of year. I know Thanksgiving has already passed but if anybody wants to include that too, feel free LOL so yeah.

Let’s get started.

This time I am just going to make a master list to begin with rather than doing it one at a time like last time because I figure it’s easier this way and then if anybody wants to add to it, I can add it later. But yeah.

Let’s go. LOL

Would you rather…

1. Listen to Christmas music everyday for the rest of your life OR spend one year in jail?

Christmas music daily

2. Wear a winter hat every day or wear snow boots every day?

Winter hat. Too many bad memories with snowboots.

3. Drink hot cocoa with marshmallows or eat ice cream every night?

Ice cream. Can’t stand hot liquids these days (pregnancy)

4. Live in an igloo for a month or live in a gingerbread house for a month?

Gingerbread house. Since I’m very limited on sweets I might as well be surrounded in it and smell it. If it won’t be too cold.

5. Build one giant snowman or make ten snow angels?

Snowman. I wouldn’t want to lay in the snow. Can’t stand itchy things around my neck area.

6. Wear a swimsuit all winter long or wear a snowsuit all summer long?

Snowsuit. I haven’t worn a swimsuit since I was about 11 years old.

7. Sit by a warm fire in a cabin or go ice skating on a frozen pond?

At my current state neither otherwise the fire. I used to ice skate in an arena but would be too scared to on a frozen pond.

8. Soak in a natural hot spring or participate in a polar bear plunge?

The hot spring probably

9. Sled down a huge mountain once or sled down a small hill ten times?

The small hill ten times. Unless it was the time I was 15 and sled down a hill running into a relative hurting her leg. I would sled down a mountain to take that event back. Maybe.

10. Have it snow every day or never snow at all?

Never snow at all. I miss living in the west.

11. Meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer or Frosty the Snowman?

Rudolph. He’s like Bambi. There was a horror movie made on Frosty.

12. Roast marshmallows on a campfire or in a fireplace?

If it is not cold out then campfire as there is more space.

13. Live inside of a giant snow globe or live in an igloo?

Igloo so the snow isn’t falling on me

14. Jump in a mound of snow or jump in a puddle of mud?

Mound of snow as long as I remain standing somewhat

15. Have to wear wet mittens or have to wear wet socks for a day?

Both are incredibly cringeworthy unanswerable choices. I choose death.

Does classical Christmas music count? I get easily mentally overstimulated with lyrical music classical has the opposite effect. If it has lyrics then 100% jail. I survived months of boot camp and thought it was fun so I don’t think jail would be a problem. Especially since you have tv and free time in jail unlike boot camp

Boots. I am a boot girl. I hate other shoes, but love boots. I have boots for everything!

Hot cocoa if it’s not the pre-mixed crap. I hate sweet things, but make my own hot cocoa with unsweetened oat milk and cocoa powder and a dash of cinnamon.

4. Live in an igloo for a month or live in a gingerbread house for a month? Gingerbread only because I would dress up like a witch, walk by the windows slowly holding a candle and cackle “I smell children!”
just to freak people out. Every night that would be my evening routine and I would sleep soundly knowing I did my good deed for the day

5. Build one giant snowman or make ten snow angels? Snowman. I hate the feeling of lying down in snow. It makes me feel grossed out because of the texture.

6. Wear a swimsuit all winter long or wear a snowsuit all summer long? Swimsuit because a bikini is pretty much just a bra and underwear. Then I could just put clothes on over top. I do not even wear a snowsuit when it gets subzero here. I can’t stand the feeling of layered clothing that is somewhat compressing. I would rather freeze than deal with that anxiety

Warm I love cabins and I love sitting in front of a fire. Bonus points if it is a cabin in the middle of the woods.

8. Soak in a natural hot spring or participate in a polar bear plunge?
Hot spring. I have no problem watching everyone else freeze to death in their polar plunge while I sip my spicy margarita in a hot spring.

9. Sled down a huge mountain once or sled down a small hill ten times?
I have done both (well at least part of a smaller mountain) and prefer the mountain only because sledding isn’t worth bothering with if you don’t get an adrenaline rush. Otherwise it’s just boring and I feel like I’m getting dressed up for nothing.

10. Have it snow every day or never snow at all? I guess not snow at all. I like the woods when everything is green, lush and full of life. I also inherited my grandmothers green thumb so I am always growing things. I get so excited for spring each year because I can grow more things outside.

11. Meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer or Frosty the Snowman? Rudolph only because I find the idea of a talking animal less disturbing than a possessed snowman.

12. Roast marshmallows on a campfire or in a fireplace? If it’s winter then fireplace if it’s above 40F then campfire.

Igloo being trapped in a snow globe sounds like the plot to a Stephen King novel.

14. Jump in a mound of snow or jump in a puddle of mud? Mud puddle I don’t like snow touching my body because again it grosses me out (texture thing).

I was Navy. Most people hated it, but I grew up in an unconventional rigid manner (putting it lightly) so I thought it was easy compared to my home life prior. Air Force had it much easier than we did. Women didn’t have to cut their hair to a butch cut, they got to keep their cell phones, they had free time etc. Things have changed since from what I am told for both.

Christmas music for the rest of my life. I couldn't stand jail, AT ALL. No way.

Igloo. I'd eat a gingerbread house within a week.

Snowman. I made one twice my height when I was (I think) 8. But I was short then.

Swimsuit all winter, because I could use it as a base layer.
