wondering about breed silkie hybrid x silver laced cochin

hey everyone, i recently had my first hatch with my buff silkie whom of which is a hybrid. i only know it was from a silkie, not about the other part of it's hybrid. and the mother is a silver laced cochin to my knowledge. out of my first hatch, i came across both light feathered and dark feathered chicks. i have a light feathered one in its teens now, its about 6 weeks old now, but the dark feathered ones are just under 2 weeks old. does anybody have any idea what they are going to look like? they look almost nothing like their parents. curiosity is getting the better of me and i really cant wait.

Well, the big chick will continue to have the coloring it already has, white with black markings. The brown chicks may be similar, buff or gold instead of white, also with some black markings.

I think this cross will produce sex linked chicks. I'm not 100% on that, but if my guess is right, the white/silvery chicks will be males and the brown/gold chicks will be females. Time will tell.

thank you, i have only been raising chickens for about a year so i was a little confused as to what a sex link was, but i understand it now. i appreciate it
