Wound

Any idea what could have caused this? We are new chicken owners, with only five hens.
The hens are molting, but I don’t know if this is related. Chickaletta is the only one with this wound.

Have you opened up the wing to see if those are damaged pin feathers or if the skin is cut and bleeding? Regardless, she needs to be cleaned up and a disinfectant sprayed on the damaged area.
