Hi,
This is my little hen ‘twisty’ named due to her wry neck.
It’s 17 weeks since hatch, and although she didn’t have the wry neck initially she developed it within the first month. She was getting on with everyone and eating, drinking & perching with all of the other hens until this week. Now she is always on by herself and can’t seem to get into the coop by herself. Her neck seems to have worsened and it’s fully twisted under her so she is mostly looking up to the sky or her head is buried underneath her.
She needs help to find the waterer and although she eats just fine she doesn’t seem to move much throughout the day and when she does it’s backwards or to the side.
Is there anything I can do? I did the vitamin e in scrambled eggs for a month after she initially had it but I stopped because I thought she was getting on so well.
