Wry neck

Can you get a video of her actions?
Upload video to youtube and provide a link.

You've checked her crop to make sure it's emptying, looked in the beak for any lesions/canker and inside the ears for any pus/infection and/or mites correct?

Just trying to rule out any other reasons for shaking of the head.

I'll have to work on the video idea. Don't have much experience with uploading to media acct.

At one point, I did feel her crop and it felt relatively small and soft. Thought that was good. Plus she has been eating and pooping, so I figured it must be emptying. I looked in her ears and didn't see any pus or other blockages. I'm assuming that I would see lice or mites crawling on her if she had them? I have not looked in her mouth. Honestly I'm not sure I'd know how to go about it.

Is it unusual for the head to shake while stargazing? Its happening even at night. Seems like it would be hard for her to rest.

Also, today I only gave her a few bites of egg with her vitamins, thinking she would eat more of her regular feed but she didn't.

The head may have tremors/shakes with Wry Neck, so not that unusual.

To look inside the beak, pull down on her wattles, to open the beak.
She may struggle with you, but once you get the hang of it, it doesn't take but just a moment to open and look.

Small crop and soft sounds pretty good. Sometime if a crop is not emptying overnight and turning sour, they will shake their head, but from your description, it sounds like tremors (?)

Yes, you would see the lice or mites, probably feel them on your skin too if you are handling her. Ear Infections/or mites in the ears can cause some symptoms to a head shake/loss of balance, etc. Just trying to think of everything.

This may help you with opening the beak.

Examined all again this morning. She now shows ear drainage. It is drying white and crusty. Not yellow green or any noticable odor. How do I treat this?

Ok let's start over. This morning I believed she had ear drainage. Got all set up to try hydrogen peroxide flush and neosporin. But I see that she has a clear tearing/drainage from her eyes and there is a clear pathway of missing feathers where the drainage is running and I believe accumulating and drying near her ears. I tried to look in her ears again but she has tuffs of feathers around the canals and I just couldn't. The flow of drainage does seem to be above her ear. I also found a small round "tumor" on one ear lobe. Good glory. I guess now its sounding respiratory?? Full disclosure, I'm exhausted. Thanks for your guidance.

Can you get photos of her, her face/eyes and of the "tumor" on the earlobe?

Does she have pus in her eyes?

If she has drainage from the eyes, then you want to flush with saline, removing any pus, etc.
Do you have an antibiotic like Tylosin or Tiamulin (Denagard) on hand?
