Year 2!!!

This is year #2 of me raising baby chicks! Update about my original 5- sadly only 2 remain, a RIR and a ISA Brown, from the original Golden Girls (3 RIR and 2 ISA Browns). The same dog took out 3 of my girls just as they started laying, early I might add! They were mourned and upcycled to my dogs.

This year, to replenish my flock, I chose 3 Black Australorps and 3 RIRs. *just got them from TSC today* Seeing as this is only my second year, I've never owned BA's before and as such, I'm terrified they're all cockerels. One of my RIRs is questionable too, but I'm not expert. Come along with me as we play "guess who's a mama/papa" Pictures to follow!

I know it's entirely too early to tell! I've heard about the impossibility that is sexing a Black Australorp. And I will post better pictures later. But I was excited and wanted them to feel the heat while in the car. ****no one was harmed during this car photoshoot****
