I know of no reason to wait for spring. I’m planning to continue hatching eggs through the winter. Is there any reason I should not?

I see you are from TX, if it is warm enough to continue, then I see no reason not to. I am in MA, it gets freezing all winter and snowy sometimes, I don’t want to have to keep chicks to an okay temperature through that.

As long as you can care for them adequately, no real reason not to. Some people report a lower fertility rate in winter, others don't have that problem.

Just like any other time of the year if you can provide appropriate temperatures, predator protection, weather protection, food, and water you can hatch and raise them.
