I have had double yolks and one with a little red spot but have not seen this.
The yolk was there in the middle it broke when cracked but the yellowish white was already there when cracked, any one seen this or know what might have cause it?
Thanks
I probably should have taken a picture but aI didn’t.

Yep....next time.
I'd guess just reflected light/color from yolk, especially if yolk broke.
But then the 'whites' are a bit yellowish.
Am assuming this is when egg is raw in a white dish......if after cooking<shrugs> dunno.

Yes next time if there’s one.
Not reflected light ( there was another normal one next to it) or run out from the yolk as the color was there before the yolk started to runout, maybe even leaning towards rusty yellowish. Different than any others I’ve got so far.
This happen while cracking straight into pan, this egg was second one in and didn’t smell different. Weird?

I did just give them some pomegranate seeds that were left over from Xmas dinner, I wonder if this could change the color of the whites the same way beets change the color of, well you know if you ever eaten them:)

I've definitely had some interesting colors after feeding different fruit scraps. I had a yolk that was almost pink once. I had duck eggs that the shells had purple stains on them after some blueberries. Eggs are definitely a product of their diets and I believe that most times color variations come from changes in treats/scraps.

Thanks for the reply’s!
I gave them more today so we shall see.
I guess I was really wondering if it was still good?
Even though not as good looking.

As long as it is not something to worry about, health wise.

If it didn't smell, I would guess it's ok to eat. And if you fix scrambled eggs, you won't see it at all!
