Hi! I'm in Colbert GA, near Athens. Have only lived here since Oct 2013 though...

Welcome! We're just about neighbors. I live in Carlton, GA. That's about 12 miles east of the stoplight in Colbert on Highway 72. And about a quarter of the size of Colbert. I'm considered a native of Madison County, graduated High School here, went away to college and lived in a few other places for several years, came back here, married and raised my now 21 yr old daughter. I don't post much, but I'm really good at lurking usually. And I'm almost as social IRL as I am in this forum, lol! Though I don't say much, I really like this site, and love reading about other folks' chicken adventures.

I hope not too. Me and abmadd lost all the dorkings we got. It happens with hatchery birds I hear. Especially the dorkings. Haven't had an issue with our other birds though.
