Sevin. There were so many that they turned the plants black. What was your method?
I usually have a bite or two showing on an arm or legs when picking peas. This was the worst I had ever seen them. They were as thick as they would have been spray painted on. They had turned major portions of a pea plant black. It is like they are gorging preparing for winter.Aphids are a pain. They multiply fast. I have to watch my brassicas closely this time of year. The ants that farm them bite!
Sometimes if there are lots of aphids on the plants I will spray the plants down good with the water hose every 2-3 days.
