Same. I don't really have any pictures of my rooster right now hopefully I can take some soon. He's about 1 1/2 years old and I really like him. A great producer and protector of the flock
Well they do eat a lot of corn, and are outside all day every day. It kinda just looks like he's dirty So it's probably sun bleaching. Can someone post a picture of an example of sun bleaching? Some of the older lavender hens have some yellow too but not the younger pullets
Yes the self blues/ lavenders are what I'm most focused on breeding. I also have 2 splash hens and by breeding the splash and lavenders I was able to get blues. It's pretty cool making new colors.
I have never had bantam Ameraucanas before I feel like they are pretty hard to find. One time I found a pair of buff bantams at a show. I really wanted to buy they but they were already sold
