No, you are right. Its the owners fault they bought/trained killing machines. . But you certainly cant kill the owners. And I think these people are probably not the kind you want to make angry.

And electrified fence is a good idea to let the dogs keep a little distance if the are kept in their garden.

Make contact with the neighbours on the other side of them. After you know what kind of people they are, and you might have a friend in this, ask if they have problems too. With a neighbour on both sides who are against the dogs set free they might listen.

In my country several villages and (sub)urban area’s have a ‘neighbourhood mediation’ with specialised people who try to figure out what the (underlying) problem is. They are great in problem solving. Does this exist where you live?

Mediation only works if both parties agree to attend, at least that is my experience.

Its not that they are invited to attend a mediation session. They come to the houses where a problem occurred. And first of all listen to the story of both parties individually.

If an outsider comes to your house who has some authority but is not police it might work. It often works in my country.

I recommend installing a poultry fence around the coop and run. They're easy to use and effective.

You could get a hold of the dogs and take them to the pond each time they come to your property.

This way nobody gets hurt and the inconsiderate neighbours will have to pay a nice fee to get them back. After a few times they might be willing to take more responsability.

I read your other comments on dog threads, really concerned by the one about putting holes in a dogs skull and leaving it on the door with a note. I don't get the feeling that you're interested in peaceful solutions being offered here. Maybe the home owners should take up the issue with neighbors.

I have bad anger issues when it comes to protecting the people and animals I love, they don’t know they want me to do whatever is possible she’s mad at all of us. But my dad is really mad, he hates going and catching those mutts and wishes we could get rid of them without her poisoning our chickens or something. She doesn’t care about the dogs much either she once said if the good one got out and died she would put down the trouble maker but not the other way around
